Do you have a burning question about cellular blinds?

We’ve covered some of our most frequently asked questions here; if you can’t find the answers you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to get in contact with our friendly team today.

Do thermacell blinds come with an energy rating?

Officially, no – however, the industry is currently working toward a rating system that will make it easier for customers to understand how effective their curtains and blinds are. Until that happens, we use a system based on our own research and years of experience. Our consultants will be happy to share our findings with you during your free measure and quote.

What does R-Value mean and how does it relate to cellular blinds?

R-Value is the measure of thermal resistance used within the building and construction industries. It covers how much a material decreases temperature transfer for insulating buildings. The higher the R-Value, the more effective the insulation.

Unfortunately, windows are often forgotten when it comes to insulating our homes, though up to 25% of heating and cooling can be lost through the glass! We’ve tested a range of our thermacell blinds to uncover their R-Value – ask our consultants for the final results whilst you’re getting a free measure and quote.
